This coral-dwelling species, made famous by the title character in Finding Nemo, has developed a unique source of protection from the stinging tentacles of its environment: a layer of mucus on its skin. The coral protects the fish from predators by capturing those that dare to get too close. In turn, the clown will eat the remains of any predators that get caught.
