Stephen Hawking, one of the most brilliant minds of our time, passed away March 14, 2018 at the age of 76. He was a pioneer of physics, and was a fundamental force in the study of black holes. Today, we are on the verge of capturing our first image of a black hole using a camera the size of this planet.
