Unlocking the Secrets and Powers of the Brain

DISCOVER and the National Science Foundation are launching a series of events that will explore the great questions in science  today–and the answers that could transform our lives tomorrow.

In the first event, “Unlocking the Secrets and Powers of the Brain,”  leading psychologists and neuroscientists will debate the hottest issues in brain research, from predicting behavior to manipulating memory to understanding consciousness. Hosted by the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA, the panel with be moderated by the award-winning author (and DISCOVER columnist) Carl Zimmer.
