For those who want to see the mountain from a more tranquil perspective, the Centennial Express Lift is a good option. You can enjoy the beauty all the way to the top of Beaver Creek Mountain. Look out over the Gore Range, with its rolling hills and views of the majestic Colorado River that runs along the Gore Canyon. Then settle in for lunch at Spruce Saddle.

You can explore the mountain on horseback on a 1- or 2-hour trail ride. There are also longer picnic and trail rides to Beaver Lake along with sunset dinner outings to the popular Beano’s Cabin. With great knowledge of the lake, bug hatches, and fish feeding patterns, they can help you accurately select a fly that will attract the lake’s fish. Or, move back to land and head to the Beaver Creek Golf Club, one of the longest running golf courses in Vail Valley. Established in 1982, the course was envisioned by legendary designer Robert Trent Jones, Jr., and is lauded for its long, narrow and challenging fairways.

From August 9-12, the Wine & Spirits Festival highlights Beaver Creek’s own culinary masters along with a selection of delectable varietals. There are also planned wine excursions, where you are led by a professional hiking guide or taken on a 4x4 tour to Beano’s Cabin, where you can taste delectable wines, cheese, and a special chef’s garden pairing.
