It’s hard to explain the allure of remote-controlled toys, but they’re right up there with robots for a lot of people. The latest RC is the i-Fly Vamp ornithopter from Interactive Toy Concepts. At 10 inches long, with a foot-wide wingspan, the Vamp is the smallest radio-controlled ornithopter on the market. It’s also easy to control and can even withstand extreme crash landings. Flying the Vamp is a true RC high: $40 to $50.
